What is a Rookie? It is an artist, creative, or innovator trained and ready for their first experience as a member of a professional studio team. Artists showcasing their work in any given discipline are known as ‘Rookies’.
If you are then here is an opportunity for you to showcase your artistry and win! It's time to show the world your skills by entering The Rookies for 2016!

THE ROOKIES runs from 7th March 2016 – 11th July 2016.
Entries close 29th May 2016, Finalists announced 21st June 2016, Winners announced 11th July 2016, Dates mentioned are at 11:59 pm on the date in question.

To enter The Rookies (THE ROOKIES) you (the Artist) must:
be 18 years or older.
Be able to show proof that you have studied, or are currently studying at a certified university, school, or online training facility between January 2015 and May 2016.
Correctly complete the submission form.
Upload between one (1) and twelve (12) images of your best work.
To enter the Bootcamp Placement (Internship) category you (the Artist):
Must be a LOCAL NATIONAL eligible to work in the location you select.
Must NOT require any immigration VISA’s to legally work in the country you select.
Must NOT require sponsorship from a Studio to legally work in the country you select.
Must be able to attend a Studio Internship in the second half of 2016, or otherwise determined by the Studio.
2. SUBMISSIONS
Ownership and content
The Artist retains ownership of all ideas and materials/images upload to the website.
The Artist can only enter work that is original and that you have the right or authority to enter and publish.
Absolutely no “Professional” work can be submitted that was completed at a studio or as part of freelance paid work. Only student work will be accepted.
All entries must be in English.
Number of entries and format
The Artist can enter a maximum of two (2) “Rookie of the Year” sub-categories.
The Artist can enter one (1) “Film of the Year” or “Game of the Year” sub-categories.
The Artist can only enter through this website. We will not accept any entries by mail.
Deadline and rights
Late entries will not be accepted.
THE ROOKIES reserves the right to remove any entry from the competition for any reason and without notice.
Entries that do not meet the entry criteria will be deleted.
