One (1) winner will be selected from each weekly theme and will be eligible to compete for the million peso cash prize. a. Eight (8) Weekly winners will receive a Capdase 5000mah powerbank; and b. Valeo Innovation Challenge 2018 – Student Competition

Valeo launches its 5th Innovation Challenge, offering students and their academic teachers the opportunity to become players in automotive innovation. Students from all parts of the world are invited to pitch new solutions in one of three categories: powertrain electrification, autonomous vehicles and digital mobility. A total of 200,000 Euro will be awarded to the top three selected projects.

The aim of the competition is to reward an innovative project, whether it is a technological innovation or an idea for new ways to use cars. It is open to post-baccalaureate students worldwide in higher education from all disciplines and to the teachers, one per team.

Join the Taipei International Design Award 2017

On April 28, 2017, the 2017 Taipei International Design Award started receiving submissions from designers across the globe of works for four major categories -  Industrial Design, Visual Communication Design, Public Space Design and Social Design, in hopes that designers will work under the premise of creating public interests and applying design thinking, given limited resources, to shed light on social issues pending urgent improvement, with design approaches at the core to solve problems inevitably confronting the people, society or city, while exercising the impact of design.

Submission deadline is on July 28, 2017 and Results will be made on August 25, 2017. You still have time to submit your design. Visit their website for full information.

Join Mittelmoda Fashion Design Contest!

Mittelmoda is coming back for the 24th year! If you are into fashion design this is your chance to shine! Mittelmoda is calling out for the 2017 edition of the most international fashion design contest ever. This is open to students who are in the last year at college (undergraduate and post-graduate level) who will graduate (or get a Diploma) in 2017 as fashion designers, as well as young fashion designers either graduates of Fashion Colleges or in their early career – in house or self-employed. Selected candidates will be invited to take part in the finals and will be asked to create their collections (Outfits + Accessories) to be shown on Mittelmoda’s catwalk in a collective fashion show (date and place to be confirmed). The Most Experimental Collection and the Most Creative Collection will be awarded with cash prizes. Several Special Awards will be announced as well. Deadline will be on March 31, 2017 and results will be announced on April 2017. There is no cost to join and this is open worldwide.
